今天的我一直出状况
做什么事都做不好
第一次割伤手流那么多血，伤口因该很深，可是却没有很痛
第一次在下大雪的时候追巴士，一身eskimo的打扮，在雪地上疯婆似地狂跑
还有昨天的那件殠事
可是今天唯一值得开心的一件事就是，在购物时见识了一些有趣的事，看见大家很忙碌的在办年货，终于感觉到了新年的气氛

今天就到此为止吧

15岁的我当上了阿姨
还记得
我第一次抱着只有1星期大的他
抱着像只小猫咪的他
当时我真的很害怕

从那天起
我当上了“保姆”
看着他慢慢地一天比一天大
他，不知不觉的已经成为我生命中的一部分
我开始慢慢习惯家里多了这位小成员

还记得有一天
我放学回到家
妈妈告诉我说他已经被父母亲接走了
暂时不会住在我家
当时的我
偷偷哭了几个小时，几乎快要疯掉了
后来才发现原来妈妈只是和我开玩笑

从喂奶，换尿片，到教他读书识字
这些都是我15岁后，生活中的一部分

还记得
他学会的第一句话是 Apple :)

还记得
他喜欢学我
学我去上课
学我做功课
学我读书
喜欢叫我和他一起玩老师-学生的游戏

还记得
有几次我打骂他
可是我自己却哭了

有时候他真的很惹人厌
气得我蹦蹦跳
可是有时候的他
很可爱，很讨人欢心

他，就是那么纯真的小孩

7年已过去了
他已经不是以前那个什么都不懂的小婴儿
现在的他
开始踏入了他人生的另一个阶段

我离开家里都已经有一段时间了
短短的一年半里
他真的长大了很多

突然有种莫名的感触

一方面是。。觉得自己老了
另一方面。。是真的想念他了 :)

yeA it's my little nephew's kindergarten's graduation-ceremony
i'm still not happy that i did not have the chance to be with him during his 1st year of pre-schooling, see him with his uniform on, guide him when he's having troubles with his hw, listen to him singing & speaking on the stage, lend him my ears about his storiesSs at school, & share his joy of having many first-experiences....
Now that he's done with kindergarten, & moving forward to primary education in a month time.....again, i'm not happy for the fact that i won't be with him during his 1st day of school, & even for the entire year+ :(

Anyway, conclusion of the day is that, kid grows real fast!...he's so different from how i remember him to be....i'm looking forward, really looking forward to see him, who is gonna be in primary2 in 2013 :)

People come & go, like it or not, this is a fact
When someone leaves u, it simply means that his/her part of story in ur life has ended.
What u can do is just cry, feeling heart-broken, & move on...meeting some others who can be a new story in ur life...

It's a CYCLE again, as i meantioned before,
LIFE is all about CYCLEs.
Of course, i'm not saying that every single person that we meet in our life will leave us sooner or later....it's just that we human tend to forget about this 'cycle-fact', & take things for granted at good times.

It's just like the economy of a country,
often, during an economic boom,
people would enjoy as best as they can, & wouldn't have a single thought on how to control the bubbles/prevent them from bursting.
When the bubbles finally burst, it marks the end of good times, & it usually gives everyone a huge shock, & they start blaming this & that, though they clearly knew beforehand that the bubbles would burst eventually.
Still, they did not prevent this from happening, but kept taking advantages of the good times, & feeling shock afterwards when it really happens.

Being unappreciative when everything looks good,
& feeling regret when the good things have slipped through our hand.
This is human instinct.
I am a human,
i do make this kind of mistakes,
i guess u too, don't u?

I personally feel that...it's pathetic.
What i can do is, keep reminding myself not to make this kind of stupid mistakes.
Family, friends, brotherhood, sisterhood, lover, co-workers, & even classmates....or any kind of relationships....are indeed prone to this risk of 'cycle-fact'.

u say that i am an idiot, who let things become the way they are right now...who make myself become so tired....but what i can say is,
when i keep quiet, it doesn't means that i am ignorant & don't know what's happening, i just feel that the best thing i could do is not doing anything, coz i'm afraid, afraid to make this kind of mistake, afraid to lose whatever i am having, & afraid to regret afterwards.
I just want to be simple, to be happy, that's all.

My point is,
please don't take anyone for granted when they are still around,
who knows u won't be seeing him/her anymore in the next split second;
please bear in mind that, people go & come into ur life,
relationship is fragile,
so does LIFE...
we only live once, & we wouldn't wanna carry much regrets in our life.

i freaking lOve every single one of u who comes into my life
I am trying my best, to be grateful, to be appreciative.

It's been a year since i arrived in Madison.
I met with some juniors who just arrived few days ago...i spent some time with them, i had fun watching them exploring this new town, just like what i did a-year-ago.
Looking at them, a deep sense of unexplained feeling falls upon me.
I found myself in them, i was exactly like them when i was first exposed to this new place, new culture, new environment, & new people around.
It's so true that time & tide waits for no man.

Pre-departure preparation
Goodbye to my family & friends in Malaysia
36hours-journey all the way to the states
Move-into my new apartment
Explore Madison with a campus map on hand
Try out & experience those so-called 'western food' & 'american accent'

It feels like all the above mentioned experiences happened yesterday
They are still so fresh in my mind.
I have not accomplished much in a-year-time since the beggining of this new chapter of my life.
But i dare to say that i have learned a lot.
I am still learning, & growing, to be a better person.

Well, my point is, one year is short yet long.
I realized that i do not have much time left in the United States.
Anyway, Happy OneYear Annivesary to my fellow Malaysians & Madisonians!

The day i started my college journey in INTI, the day i met with my girlfriends.

it's been a long while since i last spent some time in the kitchen & cooked a proper meal
so there's this sudden craving to cook in these few days
i headed to market right after i was done with the 1st exam of my GEO class...to my disappoinment, i couldn't find the ingredients that i needed to prepare a hearty meal =(
i ended up buying some different ingredients to cook something else....the 'hunger' to cook is partially satisfied at least for now =)

The deep scar on my left leg reminds me of the pet i had 6 years ago.

it's a white bunny with red eyes.

i had it with me for about 7 years
i can still picture the image vividly...
The day it lay by my side before it breathe it's last breath...i told myself that i would never ever keep any pet again for the rest of my life
It was a gloomy morning before i headed to school
The pain of losing something i have had for 7years is unbearable...the pain strikes me deep into my heart...tears kept flowing down my cheek, i watched my mum dig a hole in front of my house, i saw her tears, i cried so badly when she took my bunny away & buried it.....
i headed to school, with my red swollen eyes, i was not able to talk when people asked me what's wrong, i was not able to eat & sleep well for quite a long time....

Today, i still like pets, i am so drawn to cute little things
i have always wanted to have another pet....bunny puppy or anything else...But i keep telling myself NO, coz the pain of losing it one day is something not fun to be experienced again
i miss my little bunny...the one & only pet i have had in my life.

I found this rather interesting...what does it mean actually?
i do believe that when u change your point of view, u'll be able to see the world differently, & deal with awaiting challenges in a better way.

Well, seriously, i am crapping here.
It's the 2nd day of my summer classes...
Global Physical Environment - my 1st summer course
So far, what i've been learning is pretty interesting
at least now i know why we have seasonal change in different places on earth! XD
....also, i know what are some common mistakes that people make about the assumptions of the earth.

4weeks of classes covering 4months of syllabus
kinda intensive....i gotta do well in this course!
before i end this course, i'm gonna start another super intensive summer course which is the hOly ESL118.

blurry me just realized that i'll have overlapping & time conflict for both of these courses...for a week time.....& that's the week I'll have 2 exams for my Geo class & i hv no idea how am i going to survive that freaking week in June!

So this is a concluding post.
My 2nd semester has officially ended.
Perhaps it was the busiest semester i had.
i found out that i lose 3kgs..not sure if it's a good or bad thing?
Still remember last time when i was in INTI, 2nd semester was my busiest semester too...& the rest of the semesters were not too bad.
Hopefully it would be the same over here.
To be honest, i think i didn't really perform well in this semester due to many reasons....but the main cause is of course myself, i admit that.
As compared to other semesters that i had since INTI time, this is the worst semester i have had....worst in terms of my performance=(
i am not trying to be perfectionist, & i am not expecting too much as well...bcoz i believe i can really do better than this if i were to push myself a little bit harder & further
i am indeed regret
Yterday i saw someone wearing a shirt with some words on it:
"Success is the gradual result of striving to be better"
i agree....this is so true!

Science Olympiad

UW-Madison is the host of National Science Olympiad Competition 2011.
It's a National tournament for middle-school & high-school students.
Their theme is -New Horizons of Discovery-
There are approximately 3000 kids from all other 50 states arrive on our campus.
As a student in UW-Madison, I am actually kinda proud to see so many people from so many different places coming here.
As a student employee, I am glad to hear how the visitors like our UW environment.

They are flooding the Union South.....it was the 1st time i worked as cashier for 3-continuos-hours without having even a second to rest & take a breathe!
Although it's tiring...but i actually enjoyed it very much.
The customers keep me busy all the time...& i like to see them smiling back at me.

I have another 5 hours shift tommorow at a different workplace....i guess it would be even more busier than today!
I am looking forward to it.....=)

Summer cleaning is done....my whole apartment is clean & clear!
Again, i am always satisfied to see my clean room & house....the feeling is just so great & undesribable!! =D
i've thrown away many useless stuff that i had been keeping....& i've 'thrown' my winter jackets & winter boots into my big luggage bag.
i realized that the amount of clothes that i have is increasing over time....& i need to clean up one more drawer to accomodate them.
it's hard to imagine how much stuff i'll have by the time i graduate in 2013!

oH yea i officially announce that i'm done with Spring 2011!
My summer break has just started.
I was sick for a couple of days.
But i'm fully recovered now.
I was pretty busy after i'm done with my finals...even busier than the time i'm preparing for it...with so much to-do-stuff on my checklist!
i'm smart enough to allow myself oFf from work for few days to organize d unorganized me!...with lots of stuff to be done on these few OFF days.
...gotta start working in this week & start taking summer courses from nest week onwards.
So i'm fully occupied with work & summer courses throughout the summer....gonna be productive while enjoying the supposed-to-be-nice weather out there.

but for me, it is extremely significant
every step i'm gonna take is gonna lead me to different path, an entirely different path with different experiences

They came to visit me on my 1st working shift =)

I am really happy these few days..since the 1st day i started my job.
I meet new people everyday
I learn new things from time to time
I overcome myself everytime when i come across with different situations

Also, I smile a lot in these few days...
I have been keeping my chin up all the time during my shift...
...just realized that i actually make myself feel good as well, by smiling to others.

Although i feel tired, messy, unorganized.....etc
But i do enjoy all these....
These are the bits & pieces which eventually build me, change me into someone.

I am so grateful that everyone is so nice to me..manager, supervisor, co-workers, & everyone else in my working environment.
I'm just so in love with everything that i'm doing lately.

i failed to make it at first coz i couldn't get those rice crispy stick together, afterall, it's my 1st time to make this kind of thing.
i was so sad when i saw the little kid's disappoinment on her face.
i kept trying for few times & thank God i made it!
the kid smiled at me when i handed her the 'complete' egg...her smile melts my heart!

honestly, volunteering is tired...
but with the kids' laughter,
with their little smiles,
with their cute voice saying 'ThankYou',
with their innocent eyes looking at u asking will u be here next week....
everything is changed, things become different & that's what drives me looking forward to every volunteering session although i'm tired like hEll!

i am always the one who tell people to let go, think positively, & stay chill.
i convince people that everything's gonna be fine although i know it won't be.
i tell people that things happen for a reason, & there's always a solution to any kind of problem.
i persuade people that a problem might not be a problem unless u think it is.

for now, i need to dump all these words back to myself
but i realized that it is not as easy as i thought it would be

In the midst of my marathon

4 more weeks to go before i call this a semester
Well, i feel so sorry that i didn't realize i forgot dad & sis's bday untill mum told me so
can't believe that i actually did that coz i'm always the one who remember everyone's bday!
mummy asked me if my brain has gone wrong?! LOL

But i won't forget his bday for sure, my little nephew
i promised the kid that i will buy him present if he behaves well
he told me he is in love with spongebob & mickey mouse..haha
so i bought him pressies from DisneyWorld
...& a little card for him too,
i guess this will be the first time for him to receive a Bday card=)
i sent a photo album back home as well..
(so that mummy won't get jealous that her daughter not sending any stuff for her! ahA)

Well, it's Wisconsin Film Festival this week
i vonlunteered myself to help out
i've watched 6movies in 4days time...
they were good=)
& i spent my Saturday helping them

Well, at least a little update of what i had been doing during my spring break.

the journey begins...

1st stop: Pittsburgh, the steelers country

There goes our 1 week Spring break! dead tired...damn broken(i mean wallet)....but fabulous experiences!
There're more nice photos of nice places....but i couldn't afford to upload all of them.
It's always nice to get a chance to visit other schools in the states....it's an eye-opening experience indeed!

Well, mid-term marathon started right away when i came back to Madison.
Busy time ahead & i'm pretty sure i'm gonna survive over it...afterall, i'm already half way through the semester!

So i pushed myself to the max on the last few days b4 the coming of spring break!
exhausted...tired.....dead!
out from home for more than 12hours in a day....but i never regret of what i've decided to do.
I earned friendship besides a cool experience!
I volunteered myself to be a part of phone bank.....i didn't know what phone bank was before this, & i had no idea what a live studio looks like & how people broadcast live show that we usually watch on tv.
It's my very 1st time to enter a live studio at Wisconsin Public Television...I was amazed at how those sophisticated equipments hanging on everywhere around the studio....& it's my 1st time to actually get involved in the Phone Bank team.
FYI, Phone Bank team is a group of people answering call & taking pledge from the public as a donation to the Wisconsin Public Television....the TV program is broadcasted live throughout the states.
It also amazed me at how people in the states are so super generous to donate $$ to the organization....me alone has taken more than 10pledges worth around $2000!!!! Some of them even refuse to receive the thankyou gift we offered, they want the $$ they donated all go into the organization without getting any product for free!

a really good experience i had today...i shall do it again sometime later!
